About O'Brien Quantity Surveying

O'Brien Quantity Surveying (OBQS) was founded by Director Justin O’Brien in early 2019. Justin is a Certified Quantity Surveyor and Associate member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors as well as a registered tax agent for the provision of tax depreciation schedules. Justin has more than 18 years' experience within the construction industry. The majority of that experience has been in the field of quantity surveying.

Prior to founding OBQS Justin worked on a number of notable developments within Newcastle and surrounding regions in a range of cost planning and financiers QS roles for clients including Architects, Project Managers, Developers, Local Councils, Government Agencies, Builders and Financial Institutions. Justin is also experienced in providing expert witness reports for the purposes of court or tribunal proceedings.

OBQS believes the provision of independent quantity surveying services is crucial to successful development outcomes.
